3 Putt Golf Apparel started as a pipe dream. After becoming obsessed
with golf overnight at 22, I went to get all the clothing and accessories
that come with it. I was honestly shocked about how much brands charge, just
because it's for golf. The only affordable options I could find were no-named, low
quality clothes and accessories that didn’t feel nice to play in, and definitely
didn’t look as nice as the named brands. It was right then that I realised that
people like myself – the next generation of golfers – were being ignored. No
one was offering genuine named brand quality, with great designs, aesthetics, AND
at an affordable price.

I reached out to suppliers (the same ones that supply brands
like Callaway, Tailor Made and Titleist) and got to work. There was just one
thing I couldn’t decide on – A brand name and image that all young golfers
could relate to. It wasn’t until a round the week after, when I sunk my 4th
3-putt in a row and blurted out: “f*ck me, another 3-putt. Really?” that it hit
me. 3 Putt – the thing that all of us do and probably always will. Let's own it,
and make sure we look bloody good while we do…
